What sections for you like to see on this forum?

Yes basic, but i think most people who are good at using linux recievers and overall good with technology find these basic questions annoying to an extent... im not talking about the one or two odd member asking a basic question, im talking about in the masses. i dont want to put off members who dont know thses basic things from asking because they will be the life blood of the forum... i just mean that members should be educated so that when the forum grows, it grows with knowledgeable members and becomes a community with true interest and understanding of the satellite world. So im just thinking of the future

I think as has been mentioned before, most if not all of us have no problems answering questions no matter whether its basic or not... thats the nature and true essence of a friendly helpful forum which is our aim. We all had to learn at some stage by asking questions.As members get more knowlegable then they in turn help the newbies.. thats a community spirit . This thread has been great to hear some feedback and really appreciate you all taking the time out to make your views known

Any member with setup problems will get support here, repetitive questions is par for course on forums. Everyone has to start somewhere and i appreciate that and try to explain in a user friendly manner. As i say test us out

Nope I'm with Peter on this one I'm not keen on a chatbox either...... However if enough members did want it I would consider it as promised on all the ideas on here, so let us know if you do but not a fan myself
