Sounds like a browser issue most probably rather than the forum as it appers to be OK from this end? Give it another try and if still no good post back here with the browser you are using or just try another browse and see if it works OK with that.

Same here it seems the new forum style is not compatible with some browsers i have had to switch from Google Chrome back to the latest IE

The site definitely doesn't work with Chrome. I've tried on two PCs, one running XP SP3, the other Windows 7. Using the latest version of Chrome, when I click +Reply to Thread or Reply in the grey bar I get a black editor box and of course I can't see what I'm typing. If I click inside the box, I get a brown rectangle running around the buttons and text box, but still a black background. With Firefox 8 and IE9 I get a grey box, which at least allows me to write this! In some other circumstances, I can't remember the details, I've had a white box like it used to be.
Now working in Chrome with the Christmassy white look - much prefer it to the black background.

It wasn't down to the theme that caused this but a third party addon, but looks like we've cured this now.... I do also like the lighter backgrounds, been thinking of changing for a while, we've got the Christmas style for the next few weeks but I will look at adding one or two more themes over christmas and new year while I've got a bit more spare time, perhaps at least one light and one dark background so members can make up their own minds on which they prefer![]()

Thanks, Yoda.
One small thing with this theme: in Chrome when I click in the Username box at the top of the page, the cursor doesn't move there, it just refreshes the page and I can't type anything. The only way to login is to click the login button there and then fill in my details on the main login page. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit and the latest Chrome.
Just tried here and all appears to be fine? Same setup as you except Windows 7 is 64 bit though all browsers are just 32 bit versions.

Strange, I can move the cursor into the username box using the tab key, but not by left-clicking in it with my mouse. Oh well, one of those things ...![]()
