help please

I was just wondering how do i install Cccam please. Any help most greatful

Depends to some extent what image/firmware are you running on there, what are you using?

All i can tell u at the moment is Openpli. Iv looked through the box to see if the was info section within the box to see whats installed but i cant find it... the box is new and was delivered today. If there is such an info section can u please point me the right way pls so i can give you better information

Did you ask for any firmware to be installed when you ordered this? If you did and it was OpenPLi then that sounds like what you'll have.... The good news for you is OpenPLi makes it as easy as it gets to install CCcam, it can be downloaded direct from their addons server. Make sure your receiver is connected to the internet then go to their downloads server, I'm not 100% sure where this is in the OpenPLi menu but at a guess it might be Menu > Plugins > Green then browse to the sotcam section and choose the one you want and it's download and install it for you over the internet.

You can set the default CAM (CCcam in your case) in OpenPLi in the Softcam / Common Access menu, you then just need to edit the CCcam.cfg file according to what you need it to do (we can't really help a great deal with this part as per forum rules) but if you FTP into the receiver you can file the file at /etc/CCcam.cfg

hello again YODA

when i orded the box i asked for lastest firmware which i thought was just the open pli pack. I'm not sure about anything els but when i reboot box i see this information ( bootloader 2.6.31 ) and version ( 2.86 loading ). I will be in touch with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and ask specifically what was installed. I'm only asuming it was just open pli. Anyway I'v looked at the menu in the box this morning and could not find anything related to CCcam. Iv looked in the plugin's section and allso looked in Menu/setup/software Management/ manage extensions but found nothing. Any other ideas YODA or anyone els help us out please
